Information intended for auditors accredited by the Electrical Safety Office (ESO) under the Electrical Safety Act 2002 is presented on this page.

Appointed by the Electrical Safety Regulator pursuant to Section 129 of the Electrical Safety Regulation 2013, accredited auditors are required to fulfill their duties in accordance with the terms outlined in their instrument of appointment. It is essential for accredited auditors to be able to present their photo identity card upon request.

The categories of accredited auditors include:

1. Safety management systems
2. Hazardous areas Category 1 – Flammable gases and liquids
3. Hazardous areas Category 2 – Combustible dusts
4. Hazardous areas Category 3 - Flammable gases and liquids and combustible dusts
5. High voltage installations.

All accredited auditors must adhere to the conditions of office specified in their instrument of appointment.
